A Diverse Range of Audiences

I’ve delivered keynotes on resilience and reinvention to audiences ranging from professional summits to community organisations, including a recent session on “New Beginnings That Last” – practical guidance on making change stick, drawn directly from my own experience of long-term behaviour change.

I’ve also spoken to mixed community groups about recovery and resilience, adapting the same core message for audiences with very different backgrounds and beliefs – proof that the underlying principles travel well across any room.

My message works for any audience.

TESTIMONIALS

Kate is one of the rare speakers who can translate profound personal adversity into clarity, wisdom, and practical tools that genuinely change people’s lives. Her storytelling is raw and riveting, but it’s her insight, intelligence, and deep compassion that leave audiences transformed long after she steps off the stage.

Yarona Boster, International TEDx Speaker, Communications Master

“Kate has been a speaker at two of the Rise, Redefine and Reign Summits, and both times she has equally enthralled the audience… Having Kate as a speaker on any stage would definitely add value to the event 100%”

Signature Keynote: Survival to Self-Leadership.

Recovery isn’t the absence of difficulty. It’s the presence of a system.

Exploring how genuine recovery – from addiction, from setbacks, from any major disruption – comes down to building a repeatable system rather than waiting for a single breakthrough. This talk leaves audiences with a practical framework for building their own resilience system, wherever they’re starting from.

What changes the brain and behaviour under real pressure

Behavioural science backs up what I’ve lived: small, consistent shifts compound. This talk gives real, specific examples of those shifts happening under extreme pressure – and what it actually takes to interrupt old patterns and build new ones, including the moments that nearly didn’t work.

Why no one rebuilds alone — and what that means for how teams support each other

I talk about why real recovery and real resilience are never solo projects, they depend on systems of support, structured accountability and trusted relationships. This talk offers insight into building exactly that kind of culture inside a team, especially when people are dealing with setbacks no one can see from the outside.

Keynote – The Resilience Algorithm

What surviving the unsurvivable teaches about high-performance recovery. This talk treats resilience as a buildable system rather than a fixed trait, giving audiences a concrete framework for bouncing back from failure, setbacks and burnout.

Keynote – Wired Differently

Leading and working with a neurodivergent brain. Drawing on my own late ADHD diagnosis, this talk reframes neurodivergence as a source of strength – pattern recognition, hyperfocus, creative problem-solving, with practical guidance for managers and teams on building genuinely neuroinclusive workplaces.

Keynote – The Comeback Curve

Rebuilding identity and capability after disability or a health crisis. Built from my own MS diagnosis and the journey back to physical capability, this talk is ideal for return-to-work programs, change management initiatives and wellbeing events.

Topics and Themes for Talks

01

Resilience

My story is a working case study in resilience — refusing to accept a fixed outcome and finding a way to keep building. Audiences learn how to identify their own capacity for resilience and put it to work under real pressure.

02

Understanding of Addiction in the Workplace

For managers, HR teams and colleagues who want to understand why people can’t simply “stop” despite serious consequences. Addiction is explained in plain, practical terms, alongside what genuinely helps.

03

Releasing Control

A practical look at why trying to control every outcome, person and timeline burns leaders out – and what to do instead. I guide audiences toward identifying where they’re gripping too tightly, and how to loosen that grip without losing standards.

04

Motivation and Self Leadership

If I can rebuild through this many setbacks, your team can handle the one in front of them. I offer practical self-leadership strategies that translate directly to the workplace or any high-pressure environment.

05

Living with Disability and ADHD

Recovery doesn’t always mean symptoms disappear. I offer practical insight into managing wellbeing and performance while living with an ongoing medical condition or a brain that works differently — directly useful for neuroinclusion and accessibility initiatives.

06

Recovery from Domestic Abuse

I share my own experience of coercion and control, and what it actually took to rebuild a sense of identity afterward. A valuable talk for wellbeing weeks, DEI initiatives and organisations supporting employees through abuse, including its impact on confidence and self-image.
